Golf in Germany
First time appearance for "Golfland Lower Saxony" and "Hardenberg Resort" one of Germany´s top Golf Resorts at the International Golf Travel Mart (IGTM) November 17th. - 20th. 2008 in Marbella/Spain.

The Lower Saxony Tourist Board will represent over 50 Golfcourses and Hotels within their Product line "Golfland Lower Saxony" during the IGTM. Lower Saxony is the second biggest state in Germany with various landscapes offering more than 75 Golfcourses. Lower Saxony is easy access able by car or by plane via
Hannover, Bremen and Hamburg International Airport.

The Hardenberg Golf Resort is one of the best golf resorts in Germany and one of the few resorts which have an official 5-Star Rating for their courses. The Resort is located appr. 45 Minutes south of Hannover and offers two 18-hole championship courses ("Goettingen Course" and "Niedersachsen Course"), one 6-hole
public course anda golf academy operated by the President of the PGA of Germany, Stefan Quirmbach. The "Niedersachsen Course" was designed by the Canadian Star Designer David Krause and offers the probably most wellknown signature hole on a german golf course: Hole 11, a Par 3 with an island green shaped as a boars head.
