Survey conducted by Golf Tourism Development & Services on travel behavior and the potential of German golfer 2009

Market research is now indispensable for almost any sector in todays economy. This also applies to the golf industry.

It is therefore important that companies have access to to-date figures and surveys for their marketing and business planning and thereby gain better insight into the behavior and the demands of their customers.

Altogether there were over 1000 people participating in the survey. The survey on the travel behavior of German golfers was online conducted in summer 2009.

The survey applied within several golf related forums within the Social Business Network "XING",in which are a total of approximately 25.000 golfers organized.

On the other hand the online golf portals "Golfsportmagazin.de", "Deutschland-spielt-Golf.de" and the "Spicygolfforum.de" supported the survey.
